Paulie sat down at the table, with no Artie in sight. He was probably working hard as usual, but he could have at least said hello, after all the times they'd helped him out. Paulie ordered first, and waited for Christopher to show up.

Chris walked in. The place was fairly empty at that time so it didn't take long for him to catch sight of Paulie. He approached and took off his leather jacket, throwing it over the back of his chair before sitting down. "Where the fuck's Artie? He's usually chattin' people's ears off as soon as they walk through the door."

"Prick ever talks to me? And after all the shit I've done for him and his fuckin' demon? Not even a free fuckin' meal" Paulie shouted, louder than he probably should have, but he was ranting, and he didn't give a shit about Artie, or Charmaine.

"What the fuck you do for the guy?" Chris asked. "He usually runs to Tony for shit since they're so close." He picked up a menu and began perusing through it. Chris thought of breasts everytime Charmaine's name was mentioned. He smiled and looked around to see if she was there somewhere.

"Fuck off, I was the one who loaned Artie the money. What, you think T would give money to Artie? What if he couldnt pay it back? Tony would have to break his best friends legs...Even if it was just business" Paulie took his own look around the room. Charmaine let out a visible sigh noticing them, but kept a smile on her face. She walked across towards them. "Speak of the fuckin' beast" he mumbled, his mouth could be seen moving, but at least she wouldn't know what he said. "Hey boys" she greeted them. "How ya doin', hun?"

Chris held his hands up as if to surrender. "Jesus, alright." He looked up to Charmaine as she arrived. "Hey." Was all that escaped his lips. He concentrated on keeping his eyes on her face and away from her bust. "I'll have the penne alla vodka." Chris put down the menu and stared towards Paulie as Charmaine was inches away from him. Her bosom on his eye level. "Slow night, huh?" He was attempting to strike up a little conversation.

She wrote it down and just walked away. Paulie sat up, looking at her with a slightly appauled face, then turned to Christopher. "See what I'm saying!?" he said, half question, half statement.

"Fuck her, she ain't nothin' special anyway." Chris shook his head and looked off to the side at a couple sitting near the far wall of the restaurant.

"Jesus fuckin' christ...What the hell is a doll like her doing with an ugly fuck like him?" Paulie asked, rhetorically. He had by now joined in watching the couple talking, and getting all romantic. Mushy shit, as he'd call it.

Chris shrugged as he continued to look at them. "Lucky fuck, I guess." He tapped his fingers on the table. "She's probably got her fuckin' hands in his pockets grabbin' at his money every time they kiss." Many had said the same thing about he and Adriana, much to Chris' naivete. He tended to think any girl like that with a guy like the one they observed was only in the relationship for the money.

Paulie sat still for a moment, then he leaned in slightly. "You remember Lucius, back when you were made?" He raised his eyebrows slightly, as he spoke, and hoping he wouldn't have to explain. He knew what kind of memory Chris had, and that depended if he was listening fully.

Chris thought about it, but he couldn't remember. Paulie was the one with the encyclopedic brain. Chris rarely paid attention to details. "Yeah..." He played along as though he did. "And?..."

Paulie sighed. "You don't have a fuckin' clue, do you?" he said, laughing slightly. He could have guessed from his tone of voice. "Back when you got made, Lucius was an associate of ours...Then he went into The Program...pissed alot of people off, especially Sil. Well, now my guy tells me that he's in the wind..."

"Yeah?" Chris suddenly took interest, his dimeanor was much more alert as he listened. "We know where the fuck he is?" He asked. Chris was thinking he could do the job. It had been a while since he'd done anything outside of sports racketeering.

"We dont...But I do." Paulie leaned even closer, so he wouldn't talk so loud. "He's in Jersey...big mistake"
