Adrian sighed. "Yeah, I shot at him. The fuckin' asshole kept smackin' my car with a baseball bat after I almost accidentally hit him. First off, I didn't know he was your guy. Second, I kinda had a 'business proposition' in the trunk with a bullet in its skull, so it was more of a wrong-time-wrong-place thing."
She looked between the two.
"Listen... If you don't let me kill these goons for ya, at least give me something... As you saw with Sil, I really need another contract."

Adrian grinned. Now that was more like it. "Deal." she said, and beamed at him. Now all she needed to do was get some sleep, and maybe get a good shower before she went on the first contract. "If you give me a last name, I'm sure I can whack whoever's causin' you a bother. Ya got one for me now, or should I leave you and your boyfriend to discuss it?" she asked, motioning over at Dante.
