The Meet

[Sammy Belgheri]

Sammy watched in disbelief at how the consigliere was acting though he didn't dare say anything and overstep his boundaries. Once the meeting was over he stood and waited until they were a considerable distance from Giovanni and Pietro to speak. "Can you fuckin' believe that? I don't know how Gio let's that prick walk all over him. No respect at all."

[Tony Soprano]

"Giovanni seems nice enough, but that guy, what a fuckin' Grade-A prick." Tony said, walking across the gravel-covered ground towards the car. "Thinks he's fuckin' boss, what a cunt."

[Pietro Guavera]

Pietro: "Fuck em'. Fuck all of em'.

Giovanni: "What the hell is your problem? Jesus, you tryin' to start some shit?"

Pietro: "Nah, I'm sayin' that we don't need to deal with people like them. We're better. We got more control. The fuckin' DiMeo family is lucky it's got ties with New York, otherwise they'd be wiped off the fuckin' radar."

Giovanni: "For Chrissake will you shut your fuckin' mouth already. You're either very confident or very fuckin' stupid. I don't even realize you're the same guy sometimes. The one who's talked me out of tight spots and now you fly off the handle like that? Like an amateur? You're representing me. The family. And we do not need this."

Pietro: "I'm sorry, Gio. You're right."

Giovanni: "I know I am. Remember who the fuckin' boss is. We may be friends, but that changes nothing. Got it? I'm - the - boss."

Pietro: "Jeez, you don't have to talk to me like I'm fuckin' retarded or some shit."

Giovanni: "Then stop actin' like it."

Gio stalked off towards the back where their car was waiting. Pietro fell behind a bit and looked on after him.

Pietro: "You're the boss." he whispered to himself, wearing a cold glare. He then walked out.

"Yeah, well hopefully we won't have to deal with them again. At least not Peter...or whatever the fuck his name was." As they reached the car, Sammy looked off in the distance as a limo drove out from around the back of the warehouse. Pietro was looking out from the rolled down window. Their eyes met, even the distance didn't cloud the heated feelings between them. The window then rolled up and the limo drove on out of sight. Sammy tried to keep up the charade, but the fact that he knew Pietro was bugging him. They hadn't said a word or even looked at one another during the meeting, but that last look gave him chills. "What the fuck's his problem?" Sammy laughed, though it was a little strained. He got in the car, grabbing his gun and placing it in his glove compartment before Tony got in.

"He's a fuckin' cock-sucker...thats what his problem is." Tony said, getting into the car with him. Tony wanted to get home as fast as he could, and put all of this behind him.
