Character Name: Santino "Toro" Tomasulo
Age: 53
History: Santino had joined the Gigante family of Philidelphia when he was no older than sixteen years of age. Starting from the very bottom as a foot soldier like most others just getting into the business. It didn't take long for him to work his way up with the means in which he took care of problems for the boss, Paulo Gigante. At the age of 37, he was a successful capo running his own crew with an iron fist and becoming one of the top earners for the family. Though his methods did come across as too brash and risky to many, even the boss, none could battle with the fact that it worked. After boss Gigante past away from stage four Lymphoma, the heat was on to obtain his position as he hadn't named a successor.
Santino knew he wanted it and would not allow anyone or anything to stop him from getting what he wanted. Sal Guero, Benny Cuardorissi, Robert Gigante((the boss's son)), and Santino were vying for the seat. Robert bowed out, knowing he wasn't ready for the pressures of being boss after witnessing what his father had to deal with over the years. Benny was found dead in his apartment. It was later found out that he had been strangled. Sal was gunned down during a drive-by that took place outide of a restaurant he was the owner of.
With all of these men out of the way, Santino became boss of the Gigante family. Though many knew he had to have had a hand in the killings of Guero and Cuardorissi, none brought it up in fear of being harmed or worse.
Over recent years, Santino has sought to expand business into the tri-state area. He's been seen with the Lupertazzi family often as of late.
Appearance: Blonde hair, but now graying w/ beard. Blue eyes. He's 5'9" and weighs 193lbs.
Attitude: Santino is a bit unpredictable and wouldn't hesitate to take extreme measures with enemies even over simple disputes.
Allies: New York and others.
Rivals: The DiMeo family.
Other: He's a bit eccentric with his style of dress and ways of running the family. Wearing colorful suits and flaunting his wealth. Santino strays from the standards of how to conduct business. Sometimes willing to kill rather than negotiate.
((Not sure if you'll allow me to start my own family, but it's worth a shot. Considering there aren't that many at the moment.))
