Character Name: Samuel "Sammy" Matteo Belgheri
Age: Sammy is 27 years of age.
History: Born to a native italian parentage in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Sam was taught from early on that you have to work to achieve greatness. It won't be handed to you without effort. He'd always labored in smaller jobs like his father's construction business and his part time job at the deli. He was popular in school, always helping people out and an all around nice guy. At the age of 19, not long after he graduated, he bought an apartment in New Jersey. Living a life of independence and hoping to put his carpentry skills to good use. Though he eventually became disinterested with it all.
He dreamed big and when he befriended a man while waiting in line at a coffee shop, it became his access to a new path of life. It had been what he was looking for. Sam's chance to escape society's boundaries and the boring life he thought he'd be stuck with. It turned out that the man had been a member of a Jersey crime family, to which Sam wasn't familiar with, and worked under Tony Soprano. Sam started out small and eventually had proven himself during a trip to a business with intentions of extorting the owner who hadn't been paying the full price for his protection. Slowly he made himself known in the eyes of the higher ups as a loyal and trustworthy ally. Though still somewhat of a thug in the family, Sam only hopes things get bigger and better for him.
Appearance: He has sandy blonde/brown hair which he normally wears spiked or with the front flipped up. His eyes are hazel, though look brown from a distance. Sam has a muscular physique as he works out regularly. White/Tan skin tone. He's about 5'10" and 172lbs. Sam's style of dress is casual with his brown leather jacket and jeans most of the time. Though he switches to more formal attire for special occasions.
Attitude: Sammy's a pretty likable guy. He likes to make light of certain situations and uses sarcasm to do so. Though it's also a defense mechanism when he's upset or nervous about something. Loyal to his family and friends, he'd much rather sacrifice himself than open his mouth to the feds or anyone outside the family. Though Sam does enjoy the good life and lots of money like any human being, never would it cloud his judgement in any situation. His will is strong though he's only human so he's bound to emotions and feelings. His greatest weakness would be his compassion for others which leads to regret, though he's working on controlling this weakness and supressing it to an extent so that it doesn't interfere with his job.

Other: Sammy has asthma which he's dealt with since he was much younger. Although over the years he's fought it off and it's become less of an issue. Still, it may impede him in some situations, such as when he runs for long durations of time without a moment to rest and catch his breath. Working out in the gym has helped him lessen this problem.
